Disability Services Valuable Student Resources

Wheeling University offers two valuable campus resources that promote academic success and wellbeing for all students - Disability Services and the Counseling Center.  Both centers are now located on the third floor of Donahue Hall Room 340 and are available for undergraduate,  graduate, and adult students.

Disability Services provides accessibility and accommodations for students with visible or invisible disabilities. Director Kathy Tagg, MA, provides testing accommodations at the campus Testing Center in Donahue Hall and she meets one-on-one with students to develop individual accommodation plans and academic success strategies.

At the Counseling Center Director Tina Tordella, MSW, LICSW, offers confidential counseling sessions with students that support emotional wellbeing.  The Counseling Center promotes life skills that can help young men and women adapt and thrive as college students.

These free resources offer students support and encouragement while at Wheeling University. Students may contact Disability Services at 304-243-4484 or ktagg@wju.edu and the Counseling Center at 304-243-2081 or ttordella@wju.edu
